What makes Steadfast Wellness different is the heart behind it.
Sarah works with individuals and families navigating some of life’s most tender and disorienting moments. Sarah helps clients turn toward their deepest emotions with curiosity rather than fear — softening the protective patterns that keep people stuck and rebuilding the sense of connection and security that grief and trauma so often disrupt. Her work is shaped by more than 30 years in healthcare — from bedside clinical care to executive leadership — where her abiding commitment was ensuring every person felt genuinely seen and supported. She brings that same orientation into the therapy room: grounded, attuned, and fully present with whatever you’re carrying.
Sarah is a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling Candidate from Tyndale University and has undertaken specialized studies in Thanatology — the formal study of grief, dying, and bereavement — giving her a nuanced, compassionate understanding of loss in all its dimensions. She also offers faith-integrated counselling for clients for whom Christian spirituality is a meaningful part of their healing journey. Therapeutic ApproachSarah works primarily from an Emotionally Focused framework (EFT/EFFT), supporting clients in accessing and processing core emotional experience, understanding how grief and trauma shape attachment patterns, and restoring a felt sense of safety — within themselves and in their most important relationships. Sarah brings over 30 years in healthcare to every space she enters — not as credentials on a wall, but as a lived understanding of what it means to sit with people in their most tender and difficult moments. She knows that grief is real, that loss takes many forms, and that the path forward is rarely straightforward. She also knows that people are remarkably resilient when they feel safe enough to turn toward what they're carrying, rather than away from it. Whether your journey calls for the structured support of therapy, the grounded companionship of end-of-life care, or the forward momentum of coaching, Steadfast Wellness is here — steady, present, and full of hope for what's ahead for you.
